Kriwan 22A263S80 INT69 TM2 Diagnose

The motor protector INT69 TM2 Diagnose is a further development of the reliable KRIWAN motor protectors. Its supplementary flexible-response protective functions help to improve the availability and extend the service life of a refrigeration system. The INT69 TM2 Diagnose automatically saves operational and error data in a non-volatile memory. This data can be retrieved on a PC and analysed for diagnosis. The full scope of the diagnosis is achieved by using a KRIWAN-specific AMS sensor. This motor protector is mainly employed on compressors which are qualified acc. to IEC/EN 60335.
Functional Description

The temperature monitoring of the motor winding is done with two evaluation processes:

1) Static: Switch-off is immediate if the nominal response temperature of the built-in AMS or PTC sensors is reached.

2) Dynamic: If the temperature increases unusually quickly, the motor is switched off immediately even if the temperature is still far below the nominal response temperature. This prevents excess temperatures from occurring.

A short circuit at an AMS or PTC input also leads to a switch-off.

After expiration of the reset delay and elimination of the error or cooldown, the compressor can be restarted.

Kriwan 22A460 INT69 Motor Protector

Brief Introduction Of This Model

Kriwan 22A460 INT69 Motor Protector is mainly found on small Dorin and Frascold compressors 1) Basic protection, 2) Standard form 3) Low cost 4) UL approved model

Application

Motor protection based on PTC sensors is one of the most effective and reliable protective measures against thermal overload in electrical machines.

The protection unit is composed of the INT69 motor protector and the PTC sensors.

Due to its compact construction, the 22A460 INT69 Motor Protector is suitable for installation in electrical devices or in the terminal boxes of electrical machines.

This model is mainly found on smaller Dorin and Frascold compressors
Functional Description

At the measuring circuit input of the 22A460 INT69 Motor Protector, it is possible to connect up to nine DIN 44081, DIN 44082 conforming PTC sensors. Sensors with different nominal response temperatures may be used. Thus it is possible to monitor several measuring points with only one INT69 motor protector.

If the temperature in one of the monitored parts or sections reaches the nominal response temperature of the respective PTC sensor, the sensor becomes highly resistive and the motor protector switches off.

The device switches itself on again after cooling back down.

The relay's switching output is a potential-free changeover contact.

This circuit works in accordance with the closed-circuit principle, i.e. even in the event of a sensor or cable break, the relay returns to its rest position and switches off.

The sensor, relay and supply current circuits are galvanically isolated from each other.

Kriwan 22A463S021 INT69 TM Motor Protector

Introduction of this model 22A463S021 has the same 5 minute reset delay of model 22A263S80 but does not have many of the other features of 22A263S80. Application Motor protection based on PTC sensors is one of the most effective and reliable protective measures against thermal overload in electrical machines. The protection unit is composed of the INT69 TM motor protector and the PTC sensors. Due to its compact construction, the INT69 TM is suitable for installation in electrical devices or in the terminal boxes of electrical machines.
Functional Description

At the measuring circuit input of the INT69 TM, it is possible to connect up to nine DIN 44081, DIN 44082 conform PTC sensors. Sensors with different nominal response temperatures may be used. Thus it is possible to monitor several measuring points with only one INT69 TM motor protector.

If the temperature in one of the monitored parts or sections reaches the nominal response temperature of the respective PTC sensor, the sensor becomes highly resistive and the motor protector switches off. After cooldown or elimination of the error and a subsequent reset delay, the machine can be restarted.

The relay's switching output is a potential-free changeover contact. This circuit works in accordance with the closed-circuit principle, i.e. even in the event of a sensor or cable break, the relay returns to its rest position and switches off.

The sensor, relay and supply current circuits are galvanically isolated from each other.

Kriwan 22A608 INT69 B2 DV Motor Protector

Introduction of this model Used in high volume by Bitzer compressors Application The motor protector based on PTC sensors provides one of the most effective and reliable protective measures against thermal overload of electrical machines. The protection device is composed of the INT69 B2 motor protector and the PTC sensors. Due to its compact construction, the INT69 B2 is suitable for installation in electrical equipment or in the terminal boxes of electrical machines.
Functional Description

At the measuring circuit input of the INT69 B2, it is possible to connect up to nine DIN 44081, DIN 44082 conform PTC sensors.

Sensors with different nominal response temperatures may be used. Thus it is possible to monitor several measuring points with only one INT69 B2 motor protector.

After cooldown, restarting is only possible if the electronic lock of the output relay is released by interrupting the voltage supply. Ex works the lock-out bridge is installed at terminals B1-B2. Alternatively the locked version can be changed to an unlocked version by removing bridge B1- B2. In that case the device switches itself on again after the cooldown. The relay switch output is designed as a potential free change-over contact. This switching circuit function according to the closed-circuit principle, i.e. the relay drops back to the reset position also in case of sensor or cable failure and shuts off.

The sensor, relay and supply current circuits are galvanically isolated from each other.

Kriwan 22A613 INT69 E1

Brief Introduction of This Model Kriwan 22A613 INT69 E1 is a compact model that monitors motor temperature, phase sequence and phase failure of motors in refrigerant compressors.
Used in high volume for Bitzer compressors Application Monitoring of motor temperature, phase sequence and phase failure of motors in refrigerant compressors.
Functional Description

• The INT69 E1 can monitor up to nine PTC thermistors even with differing rated shut-off temperatures. If one or more PTC thermistors become highly resistive, the motor protector switches off and locks.

• The monitoring of the phase sequence becomes active 1 second after the motor has started, for a time window of 5 seconds. In case of a wrong phase sequence the relay switches off and locks.

• The phase failure detection is active for about 1 second after the motor starts until the motor stops. In case of a detected phase failure, the motor is shut-off and a restart commences after about 10 seconds. After the third shut-off, caused by a phase failure, within 12 minutes or at the 10th shut-off within 24 hours, there is a locked shut-off.

• After the motor is shut off, the phase monitoring is inactive for 10 seconds to avoid an unintended shut off by a motor that possibly may be rotating in reverse.

• The lock-out can be removed by a mains reset (>5s).

• The sensor and supply circuits are galvanically isolated from each other.

• The relay output is designed as a potential-free change-over contact in closed-circuit principle.

• The INT69 E1 is not suitable for use with frequency converters.
