Characteristics of Refrigerant 32 (R32) & The Need for Proper HVAC Tools
R-32 is a next generation refrigerant that efficiently carries heat and has lower environmental impact. It can reduce electricity consumption up to approximately 10% compared to that of air conditioners using refrigerant R-22.
Furthermore, compared to the refrigerants widely used today such as R-22 and R-410A, R-32 has a global warming potential (GWP) that is 1/3 lower and is remarkable for its low environmental impact. So all large manufacturers are promoting it as the new refrigerant in the market.
Due to the flammability and high operating pressures of R32, existing equipment (e.g. manifolds, gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery units) must be checked for compatibility. Any potential sources of ignition from electrical equipment must be eliminated.
WIPCOOL F series vacuum pumps are specially designed for this new generation refrigerant R32. The F Series can be used with (A2L or A2) flammable refrigerants and are backward compatible with old refrigerants (such as R12, R22, R134a, R404a, R410a, etc.).
F Series are equipped with built-in solenoid valves and overhead vacuum meters as standard. In addition, the F Series come with reinforced aluminum alloy oil tanks, provide effective heat dissipation and offer better resistance to chemical corrosion.
