The Kriwan INT276 and INT278 provide the same type of protection (optical fluid level monitoring) These devices belong to the same product family and are designed for contactless single-point measurement of liquid levels (typically oil or refrigerant).
How INT276 and INT 278 work: They use infrared light pulses. If the sensor tip is submerged in oil, the light refracts into the fluid. If the oil drops too low and gas surrounds the tip, the light reflects back inside the sensor, triggering a low-level alarm.
The Kriwan Delta P2 (Delta-P II) provides a completely different type of protection (differential oil pressure switching). The Kriwan Delta P2 monitors the physical performance of an internal oil pump in reciprocating or screw compressors, rather than static oil height.
How Delta P2 works: It measures the actual mechanical pressure difference (Δ P) between the high-pressure discharge side of the oil pump and the suction side/crankcase pressure.
