CT-205-L Copper Tube Bending Strips
The CT-205-L Copper Tube Bending Strips is an internal polyethylene (PE) mandrel set designed to prevent kinking and flattening when manually bending soft copper tubing for HVAC and air conditioning installations.
An internal polyethylene (PE) mandrel is a cylindrical core or rod made from polyethylene plastic that is placed inside a tube, pipe, duct, or hose during manufacturing, testing, or installation. Its primary function is to provide internal support, maintain exact cross-sectional shape or clear obstructions.
How to Use It
- Select size: Pick the strip that matches your copper tube diameter and color code.
- Insert strip: Push the full length of the flexible PE strip inside the clean copper pipe.
- Bend tube: Bend the pipe manually to your required angle smoothly.
- Remove strip: Pull the strip straight out of the pipe and reuse it for your next run.
Color-Coded Sizes
- Red: Fits 1/4" copper tubes
- Green: Fits 3/8" copper tubes
- Yellow: Fits 1/2" copper tubes
- Blue: Fits 5/8" copper tubes
